How to Make a Baby Yoda Cake
Making a Baby Yoda cake is actually pretty simple. You can use any type of cake mix or recipe that you want. The key is to decorate it to look like Baby Yoda!
Here’s what you’ll need to make a Baby Yoda cake:
- A round cake pan
- Green frosting (homemade or store-bought)
- Brown frosting (homemade or store-bought)
- Black fondant
- Green fondant
- White fondant
- Two black candies (for the eyes)
- A small knife
Start by baking your cake in a round cake pan according to the recipe or mix instructions. Allow the cake to cool completely before moving on to the next step.
Next, you’ll need to cover the entire cake in green frosting. You can use store-bought frosting or make your own. If you’re using store-bought frosting, simply spread it over the top and sides of the cake with a spatula. If you’re making your own, pipe it on using a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
Once the cake is completely covered in green frosting, it’s time to add the brown details. Again, you can either use store-bought or homemade frosting. If you’re using store-bought, simply pipe or spread it on in whatever design you like. If you’re making your own, pipe it on using a piping bag fitted with a small round tip.
Now it’s time to add the black fondant details. Cut two small circles out of the black fondant for Baby Yoda’s eyes. Then cut a small triangle out of the green fondant for his nose. Cut two small strips out of the white fondant for his mouth.
Use a small knife to add some wrinkles above his eyes and around his mouth.
Finally, add the two black candies for Baby Yoda’s eyes. Allow the cake to set for a few minutes before serving. And that’s it! Your Baby Yoda cake is now complete!
