It’s the final day of my BONUS 30 Disney Cruise Tips and I’ve got some good ones for you!

If you missed any of the last two days, here they are:

And that brings us to…drumroll, please

Bonus Disney Cruise Tips #21-30

21) Morning Coffee from Room Service

Want your coffee before you leave your room? No problem. Order it from room service for free – only cost is the gratuity.

22) When Not to Order Soda

Unlimited soda is available for free at the beverage stations.

If you order a soda from wait staff on deck (while you’re hanging by the pool, etc) or at Castaway Cay, you will be charged for the can.

Save yourself some money by walking a few steps to the beverage stations.

23) Enjoy Pepi’s Joke of the Day

For those sailing on Disney Dream or Disney Fantasy, find Pepi the Prawn (from the Muppets) stateroom door on Deck 5. You have to walk around a bit, but you’ll find it. Note his stateroom number. Then call his room each morning and listen to a recorded joke of the day.

24) The Best Ice Cream Sandwich

For a delicious Disney indulgence, call Room Service and request a Mickey Mouse ice cream bar and two warm chocolate chip cookies. This is a huge treat – definitely enough to share. Or not.

25) Explore All of Castaway Cay

On Castaway Cay, Disney imagineers have sprinkled their fun touches all around the island. Take a stroll around the old landing strip and snap a group photo in front of the old airplane nose. Bike to the observation tower and view the native landscape of the island as well as your ship in the distance.’

26) Use Disney Gift Cards to Give “Allowances”

Want to give a child or family member an “allowance” of what to spend on Disney Cruise merch or bonus sweet treats on the ship?

Hand out Disney gift cards to use for onboard purchases. This allows you to limit the onboard spending and empower kids to be smart with their (your) money.

Additionally, you can purchase Disney Gifts Cards and save 5% at Target when you use a Target REDcard.

27) Request a Private Table

It’s normal for Disney Cruise Line to put smaller parties together with other small parties or couples cruising without kids. For some, this is a fun way to get to know other cruisers!

However, if you’d prefer to not share a table with other passengers, you can request a private table through your travel agent or calling DCL directly.

28) Good Place to Watch the Sailing Away Party

The Sailing Away Party can get very crowded, as the Disney Characters put on a fun show while the ship glides away from port.

To avoid the crowds, go up to the deck above the party (Deck 10 on Magic/Wonder, Deck 12 on Dream/Fantasy).

29) Want a Free Souvenir Cup?

During the Sailing Away Party, the wait staff sells fancy drinks in souvenir cups. At the end of the party, many passengers leave their plastic DCL souvenir cups behind. Grab one of these and rinse it out in your stateroom…presto! Free souvenir!

Even better, sometimes the workers standing by the stairs will trade your used cup for a clean one for free.

30) Order the “Drink of the Day” at the Bar, Not Pool

Instead of purchasing the drink of the day that is offered by the wait staff near the pool, go to the bar and ask the bartender to make it fresh.

This will have more alcohol; the drinks sold by the pool are watered down by high amounts of ice.
