What is Dumbledore’s relationship with Voldemort?

Dumbledore was the only wizard Voldemort ever feared. It is rumored that Dumbledore’s mother was a witch, and his father a wizard, but no pictures or other evidence of their existence exists. Dumbledore eventually became headmaster at Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry, where he taught the young Tom Riddle, who later changed his name to Lord Voldemort. Dumbledore developed a close relationship with Riddle and taught him much about magic–some say too much. Although Dumbledore was aware of Riddle’s sinister nature, he never talked about it with anyone else.

Dumbledore was the Headmaster of Hogwarts and Snape was his Potions Master. They were both friends with Harry’s mother, Lily Potter, and Dumbledore knew Lily’s husband, Harry’s father, as well. Snape was also, for a time, a Death Eater with Potter’s enemy and murderer, Lord Voldemort. Dumbledore trusted Snape to protect Potter from Voldemort, even though Snape had been a Death Eater.

What Kind of Dumbledore Design Should I Choose?

Dumbledore is a powerful, magical wizard who can help you with anything from finding love to growing rich. Here are some Dumbledore design ideas:

A lightning bolt. This symbolizes your allegiance to the forces of good and Voldemort’s defeat, as well as your willingness to fight against evil and embrace the light.

A wand. Wands are the tools of wizards, and by placing one on your body, you’re showing your desire to wield magic in order to benefit yourself and those around you.

A phoenix feather—or better yet, Fawkes himself! The phoenix is a symbol of rebirth and resurrection, which can help you gain strength while recovering from injury or illness. Fawkes’s tears have also been known to heal wounds and cleanse them of infection.
